family, friends and food

Well, I must say, I had a marvelous time at my graduation party last weekend. Good job Mom and Dad! You are fantastic! I just cannot believe the good fortune we had with the weather (finally!). I also must thank everyone so much for coming. I cannot believe that almost everyone was able to make it. Special thanks to those of you who flew into town just to be there. That means a lot to me. It was so great for me to see so much family and friends, many of whom I do not get to see that often, and for those regulars who I see all the time, well, it's always good to see you. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. I wish I could do it all over again (although, I'm sure my mom does not). As per usual, I have uploaded the photos to an online photo album, so please check them out (click the link at the right). If you would like high quality copies, just let me know and I can email them to you.

Again I thank everyone for coming and celebrating with me.

new york city

Well, I just got back from my vacation to New York City (with a side trip to Princeton), and let me tell you, it was hot and dirty. Every day I felt like I needed to take 20 showers just to escape, but they always let me down, because the minute I got out, I was sweating again. I guess that is what it is like in the mid-Atlantic states: hot, humid, muggy. Makes me appreciate New England weather a bit more. Aside from that, though, it was a fun trip. I haven't really been to NY as an adult (last time was a 6th grade field trip), so it was fun to be a tourist. We also went to Coney Island for the 4th of July. It was really really crowded. The best thing was the roller coaster, too bad that didn't last 2 hours, only abut 2 minutes. Anyway, there are pictures, as always, so check them out.
