broomball playoffs

Even though it was a late game last night (12:30AM), our broomball team pulled through and took a 3-0 victory. We only had one casualty. Luc hurt his knee and is on crutches now. He's fine though. He's loving the attention. Here is what our captain, Dave, had to say about the game:

Congratulations on a great win last night! I thought we played the best all around game of the season including lots of great defense, talking, offense, and goalieing. Awesome job. Last night's game ball went to Kate for her solid play on defense and offense. There were at least two times when they might have had a two on goalie if not for some solid play. And there's nothing better than seeing the opponents superstars get frustrated because they kept getting it taken away by Kate...haha, loved it!

Tonight's game (10:30pm) will likely be a tough one as we'll be missing our right winger, Luc, due to a serious knee injury suffered yesterday. However, there is still lots of great players on the squad and I think we can and will still pull it off! So get your friends together, rally the troops, and I will see you down there on the ice at 10:20. Go Heros!
